Sol-RRISE Collaborative Grant

Thank you for your interest in working with Tasdeer.
Please note that the application deadline was August 02, 2025, and this window is now closed. We will be processing completed applications on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocated budget is committed.
The Sol-RRISE Grants facility is intended to support private sector firms with technical and financial assistance to help businesses adopt solar energy solutions, reducing operating costs, improving resilience, de-risking investments and enhancing sustainability.
Who Can Apply?
- Palestinian registered firms in both Industrial and Agribusiness sectors will be given priority (including East Jerusalem and Area “C”, if Palestinian-owned).
- Registered productive cooperatives.
- Private sector firms in the following fields: including health, education, ICT and hotels.
Grant Cost-Sharing Mechanism
Depending on the applicant's evaluation, firm’s location, and Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) consideration. Tasdeer may fund up to 50% of the total grant costs, and grantees will be responsible for covering the remaining costs.
Application and Grant Awarding
- Submit Your Sol-RRise On-Line Application: This is the first step toward receiving Tasdeer’s support.
- Eligibility & Selection: Applications will be screened and selected against set criteria including, but not limited to, employment generation, electricity consumption, geographic location, licensing, space availability, export and import substitution potential.
- System Design Development: Selected firms will work with Tasdeer’s team and contracted design company to develop a detailed system design that fits the applicant needs. This will take into consideration both the grant ceiling and the willingness of the applicant to cover additional costs (if there any).
- Grant Award: a grant agreement will be signed with selected companies, and the agreement will specify the items that will be carried out together with the cost coverage from Tasdeer.
