Workforce Capacity Building for Garment Industry (Gaza)

Through this intervention, Tasdeer will work with the Palestinian Federation of Garment and Textile Industries (PFGTI) to develop the garment and textile industry through the provision of trained workforce by providing on-the-job training for 250 women and PWD.

PFGTI has started to contact Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) institutions to obtain information and lists of trained women and PWD who are ready to be placed in garment factories. Furthermore, PFGTI initiated contacts with prospective host factories who expressed desire and agreement to host trained women and PWD.
