RRISE: Resilience and Recovery Initiatives for a Sustainable Economy

Grow Locally, Expand Globally

Tasdeer is pleased to announce the launching of a new grant window for Palestinian firms. This initiative is designed to help businesses address key bottlenecks that limit growth, recover lost markets, diversify product offering, expand exports, and enhance their competitiveness in local and export markets.

Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is open to:

  • Palestinian-registered firms (including East Jerusalem and Area C, if Palestinian-owned).
  • Group of companies that desire to benefit collectively from the grant.
  • Productive cooperatives.
  • Sector representatives and unions.

Grant Cost-sharing Mechanism: Depending on the applicant's evaluation, activity risk level, firm’s location, and Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) consideration, Tasdeer may fund between 50% and 70% of the total grant costs and grantees will be responsible for covering remaining costs.

Application Process

  1. Submit Your Growth Concept: This is the first step toward receiving Tasdeer’s support.
  2. Eligibility Review: Applications will be screened against set criteria.
  3. Growth Plan Development: Eligible firms will work with Tasdeer’s team to develop a tailored Growth Plan.
  4. Grant Award: a grant agreement will be signed with selected companies, and the agreement will specify the activities that will be carried out together with the coverage from Tasdeer.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Applicants must be registered with MoNE (for collective grants, the appropriate representative firm, i.e. a leading company or Union, must be registered).
  1. Palestinian-owned firms not registered in Palestine but operating in East Jerusalem or Area C and owned by Palestinians are eligible.
  1. Locally registered productive cooperatives are eligible.
  1. Applicants must be established and operational for at least two years.
  1. Applicants should be operating in a productive or services sector (alcohol, tobacco and pure trade businesses are excluded), and demonstrate the ability to scale up and/or grow in target markets.
  1. Provide the audited balance sheet for the last three years.
  2. Applicants must have annual sales of at least $100,000 in any of the last three years, and $50,000 for cooperatives, associations and sector representatives.
  1. Applicants should target an export growth market and/or target domestic products that align with the PA’s economic objectives, when suitable.
  1. Comply with Tasdeer’s environmental, safeguarding, and GESI requirements.
  1. The applicant should meet specific sub-window requirements, where suitable (e.g. be in the target sector during a sector-specific sub-window).

Important Considerations

1- We have transitioned from accepting concept submissions via email to using an online portal for interested applicants to submit their applications. While we continue to receive applications during this period, please note that their review and potential progression will depend on future funding availability. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. We appreciate your interest and efforts, and any future processing of applications may be considered on a rolling basis.

2- Applicants must present a clear growth concept with defined activities and budgets aligned with Tasdeer’s timeframe, be responsive, open to assessment, actively engage with the Tasdeer team, and ready to invest in implementing their growth plan.
