UK Palestinian Tech Hub conducts the first trip to the UK

The UK Palestinian Tech Hub, conducted its first trip to the UK during the period 16 - 20 May 2022. The objective of this first trip was to introduce the Tech Hub and discuss cooperation and partnerships with potential partners in the UK. Delegates consisted of Mr. Feras Nasr, Innovation Manager for the UK Palestinian Tech Hub, and Mr. Sami Awad, Arab Sector Lead and Programme Manager for the UK Israel Tech Hub.

The team met with 22 organisations in the UK, including governmental departments, accelerators, investors, members of the Palestinian diaspora, and other professionals interested in supporting the Tech Hub in its mission and activities. 

The UK Palestinian Tech Hub aims to establish connections and create opportunities between British organisations and Palestinian tech companies and start-ups.  The first delegation of Palestinian tech company founders and leaders is planned to visit the UK later in 2022 to provide them with exposure and knowledge of the UK ecosystem and to grow their professional network in the UK.
